"It seems that titles like "community activist", "leader", "champion" and "hero", are handed out too freely these days. But Seneca Bock and the team at Social Innovators Design Group bring back real value to the meaning of them all. Her tireless efforts throughout the Hampton Roads Commmunity have defined the true meaning of a person who not only cares, but is willing to act on her concern for others. Her passion is the genius behind her abitility to organzie groups of people who are ready and willing to sacifice their time, energy and treasure for the greater good!"

"The purpose of this “testimonial” is to present a few of the exceptional facts about a tremendous American citizen who has made numerous contributions to improving the quality of life for people, families, and communities in the Hampton Roads and surrounding areas. I want to talk about Ms. D. K. Seneca Bock, humanitarian, teacher and facilitator, and outstanding leader on a number of major fronts.
I have known and worked with Ms. Seneca Bock for more than ten years. We have worked with several non-profit organizations together as well as with a number of churches, universities, and state and national organizations. Because of her leadership qualities, her endearing personality, and her uncanny ability to bring together a vast myriad of people of different groups and beliefs and blend them together for a focused purpose, she has developed a niche of storied proportions. As President for the past several years of Eastside Community Development Corporation, a non-profit organization in the Hampton Roads area, she wrote and administered one of the most successful federal grants to promote healthy marriages and families in the Hampton Roads areas. Moreover, her work with fraternities and sororities in this area contributed immeasurably to several non-profit organizations receiving 501(c) (3) status to assist them in continuing their work to help others, Her leadership as President of Community Capacity Builders and facilitator for numerous workshops, forums, and other occasions make her the ideal choice when looking for the one person to make your event a success. Her work with those in need, women who require special assistance for themselves and their families, and organizations that are on the verge of giving up on their mission have greatly assisted in turning situations around from defeat to victory.
Seneca Bock has held numerous positions within various organizations in the Hampton Roads area and surrounding areas, too many to name them all. However, she is always quick to pass on the claim for success to others. She is a brilliant strategist, a visionary, and a dream maker all rolled into one. As a military officer of nearly twenty-eight years in the Army, I’ve seen leaders of every type, but have often said that Seneca Bock could easily be a General Officer in the military or President and CEO for any Fortune 500 company you could name."
