Programs and Services
The team is comprised of full range of social scientists, marketing experts, civic and human capital developers, who have over 52 years of combined experience tackling some of the most pervasive social problems that negatively impact vulnerable populations. Here are just a few examples of our programs and services:
Programs
- Women-as-Leaders Initiative (WALI) is a self-improvement project that fosters self discovery, and allows women to recognize their own strengths and power as influencers, as well as assets within families and communities.
- Healing Sistaz (tm) and RAP Sessions For Black Women's Health are two of our newest projects under WALI. Healing Sistaz is an empowerment project that works to encourage, support and activate African American women around health, and wellness. Healing Sistaz is a network women around the world who advocate for health equity and parity for Black women, their families and their communities. It is a membership driven program which derives its power from each individual woman's power.
- RAP (Real Alternatives for Peoples) Sessions For Black Women's Health is our newsletter. It serves as as source of information for the decerning women who wants to know what's real. Women use it as a networking tool, and a communication vehicle. The first edition was launched in April 2011 launched as part of the one of the country's historically Black newspapers---The New Journal and Guide.
- New World Tribe brings members of new emerging communities together via an online platform to help strengthen their capacity to act on key public policy issues
- Community Capacity Builders provide top-notch capacity building training and technical assistance in distressed communities
- Green Waves is a lecture series that is designed to increase the level of awareness and to educate vulnerable populations about the green revolution’s impact in distressed communities. The series is presented by experts in the Innovators Circle.
- Youth-for-Democracy is an all-day community-wide event which promotes civic capacity building, education and awareness amongst young people so they can act as advocates on key policy issues that impact their communities.
- Jamz-for-Justice Dance Festival is an annual celebration which recognizes the outstanding work of community organizers, advocates and innovators
Services
- Community Systems Design and Architecture Group
We advise our clients on complex community problems by developing innovative systems-based solutions. Our expert advisors provide expertise in the areas of network development; civic and social infrastructure calibration; capacity building training and technical assistance; managing collaborative problem-solving processes; grassroots leadership development; focus group facilitation; and strategic planning. We also have expertise in project “ Life Cycle Analysis”.
- Project Management Group
We provide services which help our clients navigate unfamiliar contract/grant projects by equipping them the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully carryout the goals and objectives. We provide training on grant development, writing and management.
- Information Dissemination and Events Planning Group
We provide cutting-edge, innovative events that meet the unique needs of our clients. Our team works with our clients to ascertain the most effective manner in which to share information for maximum impact in the communities in which they work. Our team of experts plan and manage seminars, symposia, workshops, conferences and other types of events which require convening expertise.
